Tasty, tasty holidays.
Well, that was a fantastic trip to Hong Kong I just had, I’m missing my family already!
Shan’t spend too long typing up a follow-up post, as I returned to work today and I’m already shattered, despite sleeping for twelve hours on the plane yesterday warning. Perhaps on Monday I will regale you with tails of my visit, but for now I must away to bed, lest my forehead smash into my keyboard. Again.
How’re you enjoying Mei Wu so far? I think with the action picking up, it’ll really grow on people!
Anyway, toodlepip for now! Plenty of sleep to get, if there is to be any Battlefield 4 this weekend 😛
Cheerio!
M.

I’m mostly neutral about Mei Wu for now, It will probably be a bit before I can give you a answer. Can you tell us why Gwen has pink hair? I hope you have good weekend.
Yeah, it’s only been a few pages, and not much has really happened, but I can promise you action and the beginning of some interesting intrigue! Well, hopefully interesting anyway 😛
Gwen and Ashleigh form a duo: Ashleigh is the ‘Ideal Cantonese Schoolgirl’, dedicated to her studies, conservative in her appearance and obedient to her parents’ wishes. Gwen, however, is more of a free spirit, a bit of an oddball who acts according to whim rather than the standards of others. While having hair dyed a very bright and unnatural color is not uncommon in the UK and the US, in Hong Kong it’s a lot more rare. In terms of character design, her hair serves to indicate to and remind the readers that Gwen doesn’t go with the flow, that she does not care to conform and is happy to stand out from the crowd.
“Ashleigh is the ‘Ideal Cantonese Schoolgirl’, dedicated to her studies, conservative in her appearance and obedient to her parents’ wishes.” Who also seems to moonlight as a Demon (?) hunter on late nights.
Broken back if she was hit from that height. Unless this is a comic of course… 😉
