Such is the fantastic arrangement that is the latest expansion pack for popular loot-shooter Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. It takes the form of a high-fantasy tabetop roleplaying game, with your characters from the main game acting as the PCs in tiny Tina’s very own campaign!
Never before has it been so fun to bring guns to a swordfight. All the fantasy tropes you’d expect are brought to bear, all delivered with the trademark self-awareness, fondness and ridicule you’ve come to expect from the game. If you’re avid tabletop RPG players like Masati and I, you’ll likely enjoy seeing the tropes lovingly referenced and parodied, even probably recognising the play-styles of the original vault hunters from people you’ve met in your own game sessions! Brick’s diplomatic method is… Very familiar. And gratifying 😛
