Elf Blood

I do enjoy a nice bank holiday weekend. Days off mean perhaps more to me than many others; It’s not just another day to not be at work; to me, a bank holiday is a few more hours to do more artwork, either comic-related or otherwise. This bank holiday weekend, I’m taking the opportunity to do some more acrylic painting, something I’ve not really had the chance to do in a few weeks due to interviews and other new job stuff. I’m really looking forward to it, as well!

I’ll be putting to good use the observations, advice, and general lessons I learned from the week that I was selling paintings at work. I’m slowly increasing the size of canvas that I’m working with, and though I’m only at the pencil stage of my newest one, I’m already really excited about it! There’s so much more space to work on, to put detail into and to play around with colours in. It’s gonna be awesome!

Also, don’t forget that I’m still looking for your fanart! Since I’ll be moving in a few weeks’ time, I thought it’d be good if I could use that time to showcase some of your talent! I’m looking for artwork that you’ve done involving the Elf Blood characters, and in return I’ll link up to your website in that day’s post, and I’ll send you a signed pencil sketch of whichever character you want! Who knows, it could be worth upwards of two quid in years to come 😛
