That’s how it feels. I voted for the giant flaming meteor (Clinton). If I weren’t so out of practice I’d drink heavily.
I get that Clinton wasn’t a popular candidate for a number of reasons, but for the love of God, when one candidate is enthusiastically backed by the Klan, misogynists, and bigots (I refuse to call them the ‘alt-right’, they are the same fucking bastards we have been fighting since day zero, there’s nothing alternative about them), surely people should’ve stopped and gone “Hmm. This might not be a brilliant idea…”
So yeah. Britain and the US, united in utter buffoonery. On the plus side, France gets a chance in the new year to prove either it can learn from our mistakes, or put a proper, honest-to-goodness fascist in power…
