Good News, Everybody!
Hola y’all! I have good news vis á vis my ability to deliver the comic!
I went to view a few flats nearer to work. What that did for me was provide me with an increased appreciation for the quality of the flat I’m currently living in, and the realisation that perhaps the price I’m currently paying for it is actually quite fair, compared to market. So, pending the signing of the lease renewal tomorrow afternoon, I won’t have to move after all. Groovy!
Anyway, in other news, I’ve started writing the script to the next arc of Elf Blood. Anyone got anything they want to ask about it? I’ll be happy to fill you in 😀

Are the magitek devices completely inert or could they ever become sentient? Could any ever become sentient, either completely on their own or through diabolical manipulation (you already did a storyline where Mara suffered possession by a ghost/spirit)…
Ahhh, that’s an intriguing line of thought… I’ve always considered the implants just bits of kit, sort of magical amplifiers with no actual genius within them. There IS an example of some larger magitek in the next arc, but I’m keeping details of that under wraps for now… Implants becoming sentient could be interesting. If I come up with anything, I’ll be sure to give you credit!
Sentient magitek is just me crossing the ideas of “Intelligent” magic items from early editions of AD&D (like swords that had personalities that acould affect and even possess the wielder) with the concepts of wetware implants eroding player character (and NPC) humanity from the Cyberpunk roelplaying game.
