Hullo all, hope you’ve had a great week!

Not much to report today – but I’d like to draw your attention to an article over at The Ferret, Scotland’s investigative journalism platform. A brave and excellent band of journalists have been looking into the issue of domestic abuse within refugee populations in the UK, and how their refugee status means that people who so desperately need help are being denied it – leading to stress, depression, even death.

It’s a fantastic article, and a real eye-opener. I was asked to illustrate it, and am honoured to have done so – obviously, those interviewed as part of the investigation did not want to be photographed, and I hope that I was able to capture their plight and provide a human ‘face’ for readers to relate to them through.

In lighter news, I’ve started doing warmups before I draw (yes, I’m a terrible person), and the best way to see these is to follow me on Twitter: @ChrisLauManson Hope to see you on there!

Anyways, have a great weekend everyone! And I shall see you again on Monday!
