As part of my ongoing attempts to improve my writing and general creative ability, I went to my first session of a local writers’ group this week. Well, self-improvement and the fact that it’s very easy to get  a little stir-crazy being cooped up in the flat at all hours outside of work. It’s great to be involved with a group of other creative people again, since the Comics Collective’s drink and draw dissolved.

I don’t mind admitting I felt a touch out of place, seeing as the others reading their work out that night had material that explored history, the depths of human relationships, the life of Shakespeare.
