Hallo everyone, apologies for the very very brief blog post, but I’m rather ill again and yet I still have plenty to do before I can hit the hay. I’ll try and come up with something interesting to say on Monday!

Ahoy thar all, as it’s now pushing 2AM as I pre-post this page, instead of trying to philosophize or get riled up about something, I’m going to share one of my recipes with you! If you try it, let me know how it goes 😀 It’s one of my favourites.
Chorizo Stew

1x Ring Chorizo
1x Can Chopped Tomatoes
1 Can Butterbeans
1x Large White Onion

This week, I have a new obsession! RUGS!
Don’t ask me why because I’m not quite sure, but I really want a nice rug for the flat. I think it came from friends staying over at the weekend, and the deflated air mattress one of them used lay in quite a nice manner such as to suggest an apt placement for a rug. That, and winter’s coming, so it might be nice to have a bit of carpeting in (though in general I quite like wood flooring). I do also love to walk over different surfaces (woven matting being one of my favourites by far), so having a rug would offer a nice alternate texture. Hey, I might even just get a woven mat for under the computer chair! I’M DEVELOPING A RUG ADDICTION!
Now, I’m sure many of you are wondering what direction I’m going to take this in, or even what the hell I’m doing putting this storyline in, in the middle of SKO’s quest to avenge the murders of Charlie-3.
The B-Story is not only a method by which we can extend primary plots (although Dreamland needed very little stretching if I’m honest), it gives us breathers, refreshes our interest in the story as a whole, and more importantly, lets us explore the lives and personalities of characters tangential or unrelated to the main story. Character development, in other words.
Hullo all!
I’m sure you’ll all be glad to hear that I’ve finished the first draft to the next Elf Blood story arc, Dreamland and am now in the process of editing it! I thoroughly enjoyed writing it, and it’s gonna be great fun to illustrate, so I’m really looking forward to making a start on it 🙂
In the meantime, Miscalculation thunders on, and things are beginning to heat up! The more astute among you may have noticed that there are actually two stories in this arc, hence it being longer than the others: My aim for future arcs is to stick to around 50-odd pages, to ensure that the story is paced properly.
The playerbase of DayZ continues to expand, despite having an advertising budget of exactly zero dollars. Now, while this pays tribute to the fantastic work that Rocket has put into the mod and the intense fun that is possible to have, unfortunately with more people comes the fact that the rate of banditry is rising.
Allow me to explain: Bandits are players who murder other players (survivors) for equipment or for fun. PKers, essentially.
Now, I have nothing against bandits at all. They’re a vital part of the game experience, ratcheting up the tension of every encounter with an unfamiliar player. What I DO take issue with, however, is the increasing rate of complete and utter assholes playing the game.
Hello all, I apologise profusely for this, yet another brief blog post, but I have about a dozen things to do and I have to get up in five hours’ time. I promise a proper text update on Friday!
In the meantime, enjoy today’s page! Introducing, Queen Kayleigh, Marquess of Wasps. Doesn’t she look a proper bitch, or what?

Don’t get me wrong: I friggin love CSI. My favourite by far is CSI Miami, pretty much purely because of Horatio. He’s a badass mofo, right up there with Hercule Poirot.
I’ve never done any detailed analysis on the writing in CSI, normally I just have them on in the background while I draw or write. Every once in a while though, one just catches my attention. Today it’s an episode about a bomber targetting the bomb squad, and as much as I love the show I’m not sure about this episode. I mean, in every show, you’re going to find yourself shouting things at the screen if somebody does something blatantly stupid, but when a bomb disposal expert tells Horatio that they’ll catch up over beers later BEFORE GOING INTO A HOUSE TO DEFUSE A BOMB has really just dug their own grave. NAAAAAARGH!
Check this out!
Yes, those are Elf Blood branded M&Ms, lovingly crafted and brought back to me from Frisco by my good friend Christakis! 😀
As you can see, I’ve had copious amounts of fun with them:
And even though I’ve been stuffing my face with them all week, I’ve got more than enough left for more art… I might just try some more.
… Maybe I can’t say I don’t have enough spare time, anymore 😛

Well, it’s been a blast, humans, but I have been informed that human Manson is in fact on his way back down to Manchester even as we speak. So to you I say, Happy New Year, and thank you for all the fish. Normal, flaw-filled human service will resume later this week.
THE MACHINES WILL RISE (but you, the readers, will be last to fall)
