So, this week I started an evening class at the Glasgow School of Art, a fine institution and a major part of Glasgow’s education scene. I decided to enrol in an acrylic painting class to really get to grips with some painting basics, and help me develop not just as a painter but as an artist in general.
It looks like it’s going to be a pretty awesome course! A professional artist coaches us, and we’re allowed to paint pretty much anything we want – he comes around periodically and gives us advice. I’ve already picked up a couple of tips that I’m going to practice this weekend, which I’m looking forward to.
