Farewell, Young Vixens!

And thus, book one of Mei Wu draws to a close! I hope you guys’ve had fun reading it, it’s definitely done me a heck of a lot of good to draw something a little bit different for a while. I’ve started illustrating the next Elf Blood arc already, and I can definitely feel the benefit of the changeup!

The next steps for Mei Wu are to provide additional artwork for the print version, and make a number of corrections to the artwork. However, as a thank you to you guys for letting me take this little detour, the next page will be an Elf Blood-exclusive Mei Wu extra! Normal Elf Blood service will resume after that! read more

Impromptu Review. Woohoo!

Ah, the satisfaction of closing out a story arc! I think this one has been a fairly decent one, and there’s definitely a benefit to writing the whole script out in advance of illustrating the comic. There’s always things to improve on, though! Hope you’ve enjoyed this arc, and are looking forward to the next one!

Anyways, on Saturday night I went with a couple of friends to (FINALLY) go see Wreck-It-Ralph, Pixar’s (or Disney’s, whatever it is they’re actually called now) newest film. All I have to say is; GO SEE IT! GO SEE IT NOW! read more
