Hey everyone! As promised, some delicious filler material – hope it’s at least aesthetically pleasing! Catch you next week for more Elfy shenanigans!

Hey everyone! Just a quick note that next week’s comic will most likely be a photo or something as I’ll be in the sunny lands of Toronto and unable to produce a page, so apologies in advance!
Well, technically, I’ll be coming BACK from Toronto when I’m meant to be producing the page, but… Same effect, really.
Have a great week, folks!
Hey everybody! No page today unfortunately, as I’ve been busy working on some paid illustration work. Check it out! The good folks over at The Ferret have done some sterling work in investigating the state of gender balance and pay gap in Scotland, and asked me to provide them with images for the article.
I took some time this evening to go to the Drink’nDraw and catch up with Glasgow-based comicky folks, which was great fun. I decided to do some doodly character musings for a superhero type character I’ve got on the backburner. This hero is called “Afghan Weapon”, a middle-aged refugee whose psychic powers were unlocked by a Soviet experiment in Afghanistan when he was a young man. He spends his days now in Glasgow, rooting out drug crime in his community, protecting other refugees and asylum seekers, and dodging agents of the FSB – who want to recover their ‘property’ – and the CIA – who want to analyse him for their MKGIGa programme.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Hey all! Hope you’re all well! Nothing much to say here, except that the snow was craaaazy for around these parts! Still so very tempted to run into my back garden and jump out onto the pristine snow in it…
Anyway, have a great week, hopefully snow-free, and I’ll see you all next week for more elfy shenanigans!
Hey everyone! It’s been another busy week at work, in the studio, and everywhere else – and there’s no rest for me this weekend either. Going to see Black Panther tonight, climbing a hill tomorrow, and racing to hit a deadline for a magazine submission at the weekend. Still, better than sitting idle, eh?
Oh, and I’ve also gotten involved in a fun new photography project! Stay tuned for details!
In the meantime, have a great week everyone, and I’ll see you next Friday for more Elfy shenanigans!
Ciao for now!
Gong hei faat choi, everybody! Health, happiness, and prosperity to you all in the coming year! Things are grim right now, all round, that’s for sure – but we can’t fight back unless we can be optimistic, and keep hoping, working towards a better world for us, and those around us!
Have a great weekend guys, and I’ll see you next Friday for more Elf Blood!
Hi everyone, sorry for the filler again – it’s been a very stressful week, including an incident that has left me far angrier than I have been in a long, long time, and I just have not been getting as much work done as I should. Just feeling so very tired right now. Hopefully next week will sort things out. In the meantime, please have this tribute to one of my favourite actors of all time – he will be sorely missed.
See you all again next Friday.
Hey everyone! Well, after last week’s disappointment, some good news has come my way vis á vis conventions! There’s a couple of other details to be worked out first before I make any announcement, but trust me when I say I’m very excited!
Have a great weekend, folks!
Hey everyone – it’s been a busy dayjob week in training, and with a couple of convention rejections on top of that I didn’t really feel like making a full page today.
But, hopefully, this page will help you (as it’s helped me). We try things. We try so very hard to be good and to get better, and we put ourselves out there. And we aren’t going to succeed every time, that’s just the way the world works.
What’s important isn’t the denial of our feelings of sadness, disappointment, and frustration. We recognise those because they are indicators that our art is IMPORTANT to us. What IS important is that we look at our failures, and learn from them, so that we may continue to improve and increase our chances of success.
Anyways, I really hope that helped you as much as the realisation helped me. Have a great weekend, everyone, and I’ll see you next week for more Elf Blood: Lost Pleiad!
Hey folks! Not a huge amount to report – it’s been snowing, I guess that’s something! Oh, and I’m taking delivery of a digital piano tomorrow. That’ll be fun.
I’m fairly busy right now trying to keep on top of chasing opportunities to grow my presence – While I’m always learning and improving, I genuinely think my art is good enough now that I should be diverting some of my time to just getting myself out there. A task VASTLY easier said than done!
Still, though, gotta put in the work, eh? Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you next week for the start of Block 2!
Ciao for now!
