Elf Blood

As I very nearly forgot to upload the comic again, and it’s now very late indeed, I thought I’d just fill today’s post with some lovely stuff about summer! God knows we could all use a bit of positive thinking, what with conflict and aerial disasters happening left, right, and centre.

• Long days
• Pretty flowers
• Prettier butterflies
• Special bugs
• The warm feel of sun-kissed earth under your feet
• The coolness of the grass when you inevitably step on a REALLY hot bit of ground
• Blue skies
• Fluffy clouds
• Actually being glad when it rains
• The smell of barbecue wafting through the air
• Being able to sit outside at a restaurant or cafe without freezing halfway to death
• Justifiable ice-cream!

Anyhoodle, I shall leave you to enjoy this page! There’s only a couple of pages left in this arc, and I’m going to do a little summary on how I thought it went, see if it tallies with you guys’ opinions!

PS: Is anyone watching the Commonwealth Games? I didn’t catch the opening ceremony, but I heard the fireworks from my house. Thought we were coming under attack from massed howitzers, or something…
