Elf Blood

Hey folks! It’s been a recovery-laden week, as I caught a cold early on in London MCM and have been trying to fight it off ever since! Also, with family stuff and work stuff, I’ve had very little time to myself this week (which hasn’t helped the cold at all). What I DID manage to do, however, was spend a little bit of time making a start on a new print – I want to do a series based on the Major Arcana of the Tarot, with influences from Chinese, Buddhist, and Taoist culture. This one here’s the High Priestess, based off my favourite buddhist figure, the Bodhisattva Guanyin, who teaches compassion and mercy.

Anyway, hopefully back to the comic next week – not so much prep to do ahead of Glenrothes Comic Con, which I’ll be at next weekend!
