Communication, the old-fashioned way!
So, as it turns out we now have an IRC channel!
Illustrating comics can often be a lonely endeavour, especially when one lives on their own. You come home, you turn on the PC, you dash off some squiggles and you go to bed, with previous little in the way of human contact for many, many hours. The best you can do sometimes is hope that one of your friends is on for a chat. Sooner or later, real-life ensues and they have to go and do things, leaving you on your own, stylus in hand, staring into oblivion.
So I decided to be proactive! I thought it’d be fun to set up an IRC channel for the webcomic that I could idle on while I was working on the comic, so anyone can drop in and have a chat! The channel is:
#elfblood on slashnet
So do drop by and say hello! I’ll be on there most evenings, and probably much of the day on most weekends as well.
Looking forward to seeing you in there!
M.
I have no idea what an IRC channel is… but then, you probably have no idea what a multi-wave hopping freq-masq is either, so I guess we’re even!
True, but that’s because my classes were geared more towards network communications, not radio communications! I did a couple of basic classes in it, but most of what I learned was in Power and in Network Engineering. Neither of which I seem to use in my current job role, now that I think about it!
Well if I can ever figure out how to use slashnet and I’m able to find you on it I’ll drop in and say hello. until that day I’ll be in the comment section. Have a good week.
