Ask not what you can do for me…
Ahoy hoy all, a brief one today as it is now 0131, and I’m exhausted having done my utmost to maintain regular service through a minor panic attack.
What I’d like to do with this post is ask you guys what you’d like to see included on the site or in the comic in the future! I want to make this site as much about you guys as it is about my creations, so give me a shout if there’s something you think I can be doing to make the site experience as awesome as possible for you! You guys really are the reason I do the comic: I love to entertain people, and if there’s anything I can do to enhance my ability to do so, I’d love to hear it!
Ciao for now,
M.
talk about giving someone the evil eye, that’s so freaky its awesome!!
There are lots of interesting plot threads that need development, and each new page seems to start another new one. Earlier chapters had hints about Ixnay’s ambivalent relationship with Mom. What’s with Roderick? Why wasn’t he pissed at Ixnay for running away for so long? Or is he pretending and plotting with Queen Kayleigh? How are Shana and Carlita going to find Mortessa’s accountant? Is Fliss really, really dead? And Mara’s possessed by a demon–isn’t she the main character? I hope for a long arc, lots of complications and at least some satisfying resolution.
Thanks, Janet! Most of these do get resolved, rest assured. I want to work on tightening up my storytelling for the next arc, so that the story flows more contiguously. Would spending more time on each point before moving on help with this? I’ll make sure that the main and sub stories of the next arc are clearly defined, so that they don’t jump around so much as in this arc: Perhaps I’m trying to provide too much information in too short a period of time?
Cheers!
Well, you could just draw someone sitting there reading from a book explaining all of the main plot points, but where’s the fun in that?!
