Hullo pals! My word, it’s a SCHEDULED Extra page! Who knew we would see one so soon?

You might have noted, today’s page is in a bit of a different style – I’m trying out a different way of colouring the pages, and wouldn’t mind a bit of feedback on how they look! This particular page is coloured so that the foreground objects are much more saturated and lighter than the background ones. I’m also going to try out a couple of other options, mostly tweaking the saturation and lightness levels on foreground vs background.

I think restricting the colour also allows me to play with the mood of the scene as well – it almost becomess another parameter I can enhance the artwork with. I’m swithering over the colour of the shading – I’ve instinctively chosen complementary colours, but I wonder if some other colour or even just plain greys might be better?
