Hullo all! As it’s almost the weekend and it’s als very late, I shall forgo any attempt to write a lengthy blogpost (or incoherent rambling like last time). Instead, I shall list the things my weekend will encompass – maybe more!

Seeing as how I’ve thus far been too lazy to set up any kind of streaming channel as I draw, many of you will probably be entirely unaware that as I draw I like to have something on as background noise. Occasionally this will be music, but more often than not it will be a TV show – preferably a TV show that I’ve already watched halfway to death, so that I don’t get distracted by it and can follow the story without actively paying attention to it.
Now, if there’s one series I can class as having watched halfway to death it’s definitely Frasier. I love Frasier. I still consider it one of the absolute pinnacles of television – with its unique wit, charm, and sheer intellect, it elevated the art of comedy to something beyond that of a regular sitcom in a way that has not yet been matched.
Hello all, I totally forgot about this particular festival – all the best to you all for now, and hopefully you’ll find your respective holidays too dull to complain about!

EDIT: Er, so what happened here is that I fell asleep on my graphics tablet after I’d finished today’s page. When I woke up at 3 AM, I realised that I needed to post the page, so managed to limp my way through exporting and resizing the image. It would then seem that I also realised that the post also needed words.
Hullo all, I’ve managed to fall asleep on my tablet and it’s now late as I type this up so I’ll keep it short!
One year ago today, the idea of Scottish Independence went to the polls. And, by the somewhat-slim-yet-somewhat-notable margin of 10%, the NO campaign prevailed. Now, as a Pro-Yesser, the pain of that day has still not faded – it’s pale consolation when we see so many issues that we foresaw in remaining part of the UK present themselves anew, or continue to be a thorn in the country’s side.
Fourteen years ago today, what can only be described as the defining political and cultural event of the western and middle worlds, possibly of the whole globe, for this generation. From one tragic day of wickedness, over a decade of conflict and suffering continues to grow and consume the world in flames of hatred and intolerance.
Without dwelling on the issue, or angsting too much, I leave you with this: Why do we continue to be so terrible to each other?

Morning everyone, just a brief post today as I’ve got to scoot off to work soon. Suffice to say it has been a mixed weekend – Excellent celebration with pals, and a great time seeing family, but more than a little hassle from elsewhere which is causing me to re-evaluate a LOT of things.
Anyway, the less said about that, the better. Onwards, to Friday!

It’s the weekend again, hooray! And I’m looking forward to Friday night more than ever today – Some of my pals are coming round for games, fine dining, and general palling around.
The plan is for the evening to be built around a little piece of roleplaying nonsense that we haven’t done in a while – Mashup Roleplaying. I think I might have mentioned it before, but for the benefit of those who I haven’t told, the premise is simple: Each player constructs a very simple character sheet, with very generalised skills and a high-level concept (Warrior, Sharpshooter, Charmer, that sort of thing). They then put a number of genres into a hat, and a number of settings into another. Two genres are then pulled out, along with a setting, and the GM has five minutes to come up with a quick scenario using those parameters for the players to roleplay in. It’s immense fun, and a real roleplaying challenge!
Hullo everyone, sorry today’s page is a wee bit late – I’ve had a busy weekend, and even now I can’t hang around too long. Got to finish off a submission, type up a sunopsis, cover letter, series plan, etc. etc. Thank goodness this was a bank holiday weekend!
Anyway, I shall catch you all on Friday – Cheerio for now!

I’m sure I’ve mentioned a few times that I’m a big fan of the Marble Hornets web video series. I’ve recently developed a craving for found-footage horror again, so I thought I’d dip into the other main players in the Slenderverse. I’ve gotta say, there’s a LOT of creativity out there! I’m up to date on EverymanHYBRID and TribeTwelve, and I’m working my way through DarkHarvest00. I’m really enjoying how they’re all connecting together, which is something that wasn’t present in the otherwise-excellent Marble Hornets series.
